Micro Carbon Capture and Utilization

Project Description:

Micro-scale carbon capturing is an innovative technology that could contribute towards Net Zero or low emission buildings. CleanO2 is developing a novel method to capture CO2 in the exhaust of commercial and multi-unit residential boilers and furnaces while simultaneously recovering waste heat energy. This research project will analyzing the system performance, environmental performance and market feasibility of micro carbon capture within institutional and large residential buildings. This research will seek to understand the feasibility of adopting micro level carbon capture in the Canadian building sector and generate a much needed knowledge base on the subject.
