UBC’s Clean Energy Research Centre organized Innovations in Clean Natural Gas program at #BCTECH Summit

On March 13-15, 2017, over 200 natural gas industry leaders and innovators from Canada, Norway and other countries convened in Vancouver for the Innovations in Clean Natural Gas Program, held in conjunction with the annual #BCTECH Summit.

This ‘by-invitation only’ event was hosted by the Government of British Columbia and the University of British Columbia’s Clean Energy Research Centre.

The Natural Gas Innovation Program provided a unique opportunity to share best practices, network with industry experts, and learn about the latest technology developments. The Program also included optional site visits and working group events.  Session topics included:

  • LNG production technology
  • gas engine developments
  • LNG/CNG refueling innovation
  • carbon tax policy
  • climate change leadership
  • pilot project success stories

 

Innovations in Clean Natural Gas highlighted and celebrated natural gas technology, innovation, achievement and leadership with industry, academia and government leaders from across Canada, Norway and the world.
